About Troop 212

Troop 212 was formed way back in 1963 to meet the needs of the community served by our charter organization, Northglenn United Methodist Church, located at 1605 W. 106th Ave, Northglenn, CO.

Our Troop Meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall on Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm except for the 2nd Monday of each month when we meet for our Patrol Leaders Council and Parent Committee Meetings.

Troop 212 is a Scout-run organization supported by an active adult volunteer group. The Scouts plan our calendar each year and then coordinate the efforts for each event. Some of our traditional activities include:
  • Monthly Troop Campouts
  • Summer Camp (A week long adventure open to all boys)
  • BSA High Adventure Camp (For our older boys at one of the BSA's three premier Camps: Northern Tier, Philmont, and Sea Base)
  • Armed Forces Tribute Garden Ceremony
  • Spring Backpacking Trek
  • Intro to Backpacking Overnighter
  • Westminster Faire
  • NUMC Cleanup Day and Urban Campout
